Meet Cornell Paynes a.k.a Coney Da Producer, the latest member of our music production team. He is a New Orleans native from the lower ninth ward that found his love for music in the year of 2002. Coney began his journey playing the piano in church and soon began to experiment with other instruments. Coney's basement at the time became a low-budget recording spot for local aspiring artists to help them stay out the streets. Brought up and influenced by Mannie Fresh, The Runners, and J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, Coney began to find his own flow and create his own unique sound. In 2005, Coney lost everything due to the disastrous Hurricane Katrina. Although he faced so much loss, he used that as motivation to recover and improve his skills. Coney then started his own production label, PROvision Productions. Renowned Artists such as Juvenile, Boosie Badazz, Kevin Gates and many others have personally worked with Coney. To this day, Coney continues to produce and share his talent with the world. Coney played a huge role in producing the OG album and really knows how to bring music to life with his deep passion and dedication.
